History

CT Group is not only a team of a few boys, who's destiny was to dance, but it's a true history of people, which started in 2002 and lasts till today, because we are those, who create it.
We aren't looking for applause, we don't do it for fame or money
. Dance is like learning how to swim, when you get to know it once, you will never forger how to do it, it lasts inside you forever.
Marek Kisiel is the initiator of the group. At the beginning the team consisted of: Marek Kisiel, Ariel(Farel) Buchard, Mariusz(Snajper) Syperek, Kamil (Kosa) Kosakowski, Michał (Sosna) Sosnowski, Robert (Robak) Adamczuk and Arek (Małysz) Statkiewicz.
In this composition we performed for the first time and we had our first achievements. After a year two dancers Artur(Artysta) Listowski and Marek (Żeberko) Zysk joined us, but Kosa leaved us.
In this staff we stood up for the 1st battle, without previous preparation. We'll remember this battle till the end of our lives, because we learned a lot then and drew a beneficial conclusion.

In 2003 Marcin(Fabisz) Fabiszewski, Adam (Ziomek) Cholewicki, Tomek (Piszczak) Jarosik & Kamil (Szarmach) Duda joined us, but 2 members Sosna and Snajper left.(as always..)

At the beginning of 2004 there were next changes in our team. Maciak Dąbrowski and Paweł Dębiński were in, but Farel, Szarmach and Adam were out. That was the moment in our group when started understanding one another, noticed the things we hadn't noticed before, chose the right way. For the first time we went on "Battle of the year-POLAND"

Year 2005 was the beginning of cooperation with clothing brands. Firstly was the REPORTER, in clothes of which we performanced for 6 months (7 competitions and 18 showcases in various parts of Poland).
The second brand was OXIDE with which we cooperate for the next half of the year and promoted it on 7 competitions and 20 showcases in Poland and abroad for instance on HipHop Days - World Championship in Bremen, Germany, where we win 1 place.
In the end of the year 2005 we were offered a sponsorship from LORD STYLEZ producing street clothing with which we get along with till today.

In 2006 we were chosen to Dolina Kreatywna-(TV programme organised by TVP2 where various creative people perform and compete) We got the 1st prize and thanks to this fact we were able to take part in next enterprises connected with promotion of next editions of this programme.

On 7th May 2006 Krzysiek (Kat) Dominiczak from Katowice joined us. He surprised us with his high level of dance. Telling the truth, we had lacked this kind of member in our group. Apparently the stable number of the crew has to tally, because, nobody knows why, Żeberko leaved and so did Paweł soon after.
Our group became a good composition of 8 people in which we developed and looked for new possibilities to show ourselves and our inspirations in dance.

In February 2007 we celebrated the 5th anniversary of our group, for which we had created a special dance show dedicated to all members of the crew. We showed something different than before, presenting dance in ultraviolet.
After annual Summer workshop we chose to our team young Kacper Zientarski, who, despite his short practise, mastered fundations very well and developed himself in really fast pace.

We took part in numerous dance ventures, but a lot of not unfufilled dreams were still in our hearts, that's why we proudly welcomed the year 2008, which was expected to bring only positive results. And that was what happened.....

At the beginning of the year we and girls from Cute Faces were invited to take part in Hip Hop Groove Festival as one of the best 7 dance groups in the country to come and represent their cities and their styles. Jointly, with heads full of ideas, we made an 8 minutes show.
10th May- we ruled in Austria on the event called "BOTY SEE", which was the elimination to "Battle of the Year International". All this took place in very interesting place and you could see various dance styles on the dancefloor. Summing up-bboys with great imagination.
We went there with one aim, to win, because for 7 years up to that time, no polish team had managed to qualify to the world biggest bboy event.
As you may predict, that was what happened. C.T.Group not only won the competition, but also got the prize for the BEST SHOW, so we were coming back home double happy. In the forthcoming months we're planning to train and work hard to show ourselves from the best side.
